That is the most appropriate word to describe the latest episode of Malaysian politics. The twist and turns are so interesting, that I classify it more interesting that Mugabe. Mugabe is but yet another tyrant, dictator, who cause massive suffering. But Mugabe will have no change in challenging Hilter in the hall of “baddies.

That is why Malaysian politics is so much more interesting! It is drama, sex, scandals, explosives, spying, dynasties of power all thrown into one. It is enough to make Ian Fleming ashamed of his uninteresting 007 plots.

The country has a deputy PM who is associated with the murder of a Mongolian woman whose identify is ? model (ie prostitute)? multi-lingual translator? arms deal agent? Secret agent? Names like KGB gets thrown in.The speculation goes on, and on. But who is she? What I am certain is this is a young woman with two young children, and one of them is disabled. She is a loving mom and what on earth has she done to deserve being blown up to dust using explosives?

an ex-deputy PM who was brought down because he sodomised someone. He is reputed to be a CIA agent, working with some evil powers to bring down this developing Muslim country.

The ex-deputy PM (now 60 years old) who was brought down now want to be PM but is now accused of sodomising another young man. So, is he gay? This devout, well respected Muslim leader, father of 6? That in itself so potentially scandalous. He was taken to the police station and hospital, striped naked and “measured”. So, what is the measurement? The world wants to know what makes this 60 year old man capable of raping a tall and strong 23 year old man. What “potent” powers he has! Viagra has just found its spokesperson.

an ex-PM whose son is the current deputy PM – who is associated with a murder of a Mongolian woman. This PM is also linked with the massacre of the Chinese in 1969. Another evil plotter.

an ex- PM who is still the puppet master and hope that his son will be the next PM. This PM’s list of drama is too long to be properly quantified. The most famous episode is none other than being shocked to discover his deputy a sodomiser.

a PM who remarried while in office, not long after the death of his beloved wife. It must be lonely at the top, huh? The new wife is the sister in law of the deceased wife.

another ex- PM, whose good name is forever tainted for producing a son who wave the “keris” and ready to bath it with Chinese blood.

Ridiculous?

Shall I suggest that all boarding passes for flights to Malaysia should come with a warning?

“Engagement in “non natural” sexual acts such as involving the oral or anal routes, or other variations such as lesbian or gay sexual acts is liable to be charged under the laws of the country, even if it is between two consensual adults. Maximum penalty: 20 years of jail“.

And my confidence in Newsweek went down hill this week, as Malaysia’s corruption perception is too good to be true!

Going to work on the Tube is a daily highlight. My heart would skip a beat if I see a sms when I wake up. Notifcation of delays? Person under train incident- again? An sms would make me rethink my shoe and clothes choices.

On a typical normal day, I choose my time to board based on whether I think I need a snooze and seat. I can also choose the crowd. Lets look at the Expected arrival time of trains EAT, and how it determines what goes in.

before 7:30 am. Seat: Guaranteed!! Crowd: are you sure it is a week day? Harried accountants. Sleeping.

between 7:30 to 8:30 am: Seat : Almost guaranteed. Crowd: The yuppies. The middle aged. Well dressed. A couple of stations, (let’s call them A-D) would be particularly busy. Time to do logo spotting. LV? Gucci? Professionals?Bankers? Most likely newspaper: Financial times.

between 8:30 to 9:00: Seat: You are lucky to get on! Crowd: typical office. Not too many intelligent looking ones.

9:00 to 9:30: Seat : hardly a chance. Crowd:I-am-late-for-meeting, I-had-a -goo-night-out.

9:30 to 10.00: Seat: 80% guaranteed. Crowd: Hangover, busy with make up ladies, kids, ie university students, young fellas. Casual clothes- perhaps these people would end up in uniforms later? Uniforms of retail shops.

If I have a chance, i will survey people’s income and IQ by the time they board the train. No guess who come up tops. Having said taht, I am teh last group. Sigh.

Are these related?

I remember reading Feng Shui masters claimed that China will have another problem before Olympics. And these came from different sources, from two different well know feng shui masters. I was kind of like, wow, did these guys discussed and agreed before hand. Anyway, it was one of those things which I read and “toss”.

Today, I read about the report of Guang Dong Astronomy Association talking about possibility of the sun, moon and earth positions causing the earthquake on 12 May, and warned about another potential problem day on the 3rd June 2008. Guang Dong Astronomy Association sure sounds more credible than “feng shui master”.

Two powerful astronomical tides

According to the Guangdong Astronomy Association, the relevant authorities need to pay attention to two powerful astronomical tides in early June.

One will appear at 21:00 on June 3, 2008, a point when the distance between the moon and the earth, at only 357,251 km, is the shortest since Nov 11, 2007. The other will take place at 03:23 on June 4, 2008, when the moon, the sun, and the earth are on the same line. Normally there would be a significant interval between such events. In this case, however, it was no more than 6 hours. Thus a consolidated astronomical tide will be formed, possibly producing a significant impact on atmospheric, oceanic, and solid tides of the earth. After the 8.0 magnitude Wenchuan quake, the tectonic plates were dislocated, and energy release through aftershocks has not fully dissipated the tension.

They also provided time and dates in their report. Hmmm hope that they are proven wrong. Even if they are proven “right” (touch wood), it is still great leap forward in earth quake prediction? Perhaps we are not learning to do what had been done by Zhu Ge Liang and company? Watch the skies???? There are quiet a bit of stories about earthquake clouds too.
